Blogs-Personal & Corporate

 This week we checked out some personal blogs and some corporate blogs. Below are the ones that I liked and checked out and some information about them.

The first personal blog I checked out was:

Home - Amber Fillerup Clark

Amber talks about fashion, beauty, traveling, healthy snacks, lifestyle, hair care, and so much more. Amber also talks about how to calm her anxiety and shows pictures of her children when they visited a farm in Washington. It started out as writing on the blog once in a while and now she writes every day.

I thought the blog was very well laid out, it was easy to see and pick what part of the blog you wanted to read first. Some of the things that caught my eye right away was the way the side bar and all of the posts that Amber has posted about that you might want to check out.

The next personal blog I chose was:

Personal Growth for Families - Moments A Day

Chelsea Lee Smith has a message for all the moms out there that are not quite sure if they are doing the “mom” thing right or not. Chelsea has some simple ways to help your families add to their growth every day. In the blog Chelsea lists some activities for kids to do, some journals, articles and classes for everyone to enjoy making sure everyone is being their best self they can be.

I thought the blog was very eye-catching and it has a lot of cool resources for families. They also have some activities for children to do to help them develop a positive attitude. This blog does not have a sidebar, but it has a lot of information for those that want to read it.

The first corporate blog that I chose was Zillow Group

Blog: The Home Page - ZillowGroup

The Zillow Group blog homepage has an about page, news page, investors page, and a careers page. It also has a way that you can filter articles like Community Impact, Culture, Executives, Industries, Products, Uncategorized, and Zillow search.

I really liked that when you look at the filtered articles, they have a picture with all of them so there is a visual description of them to look at. They have so many articles that are available to look at and read. They have quite a few blogs to check out, depending on what you are looking for.

 

The second corporate blog I chose was:

This blog has pictures from the Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line. Just looking at the pictures makes you want to take your kiddos there. The sidebar has more news which is a collection of Disney news and links from around the world for you to check out. At the bottom of the blog, they have a List of Parks and Destinations, What’s New, Special Offers, and Vacation Planning.

I thought the blog was very nice and had an assortment of pictures to grab the reader's attention. The blog has a lot of different things to get the reader to keep reading and they have a lot of information for whatever the reader may be looking for.
