Internet Tools and the Internet
I found this video on School tube: (SchoolTube - Safe video sharing and management for K12)
I chose this video since I had always heard good things about Pinterest, but I have never really used it. I learned how to pin the items I like so I can save them to look at later or whenever I want to look at them, they will always be there until you unpin them. This relates to the Social Media & Web Technologies course since it is an internet tool that is used on the internet. We learned about web tools in week 6 and week 7.

I chose this video because I thought it was a great video with the children explaining what the internet is. It is in the children’s words, and I think it comes across very well. The way the children's voices speak so clearly makes it very easy to understand and I think it was a very good outline of what the internet is. The internet is a “big” part of Social Media & Web Technologies. We would not have social media or web technologies without the internet, they all go together with the internet being the biggest part.

Hi Jen! Great tie in with Pinterest and Library Services. Pinterest is a great resource for ideas and inspiration to use in the library. The children describing the internet is really adorable! Such a fun patient way to describe such a big part of our world! Nice work!
